Game options
The choices a club can make: doubles or rotating partners, how a round is scored, checks and a playoff bracket.
Your club. Your rules.
What the video says
Partners
Every club plays it a little differently. Fixed partners or rotating. Play to 10, or play 8 hands. A playoff at the end, or not.
Bring your own partner? Tick Doubles Mode, and the pair plays together every round. Leave it off, and partners rotate every round. Singles and doubles keep separate records, so nobody’s numbers get mixed.
Rotating partners? Draw them at random — nobody partners the same person twice. Or seed them from past results, strongest with weakest. Or spread them across tournaments, so over a season everybody plays with everybody.
Scoring and counting
Play to a number, or play a set number of hands and count them up. A loner worth 4, or 5 — however your club plays it.
Count the euchres, track the loners — or don’t. Play for a euchre jar or a loner pot, and the counting comes switched on.
By default, partners have to agree. Want it tighter? Make the whole table agree, and every card shows what the other side put in.
A playoff at the end
And if you want a playoff, set it up before the tournament starts. You choose the strength of schedule, the seeding, and the tie-breaking order.
After the rounds, pick how many go through. The bracket is seeded the way sports playoffs are,
and the bracket draws itself — one game, one and done, down to the final table, and crowning the champion.
Singles and doubles together
Do you need to run a singles and a doubles at the same time? That works too.
